Exhibition Statement

Develop a mind which does not abide in anything.
No attachment, no greed, no desire. A lotus flower blooms in the universal heart
Mission and Goal statement

My art is dedicated to expressing iconic Buddhist traditional forms and styles employing modern materials and sensibility. My interest includes both traditional and contemporary expressive styles, with a focus on oil-painting incorporating Buddhist images and design.

My interest is deeply rooted in my Buddhist faith and desire to transmit and translate this unique cultural art form to a modern sensibility using contemporary materials.
I have spent the last 12 years studying the ancient works of various Buddhist artistic traditions in wide ranging regions of my home country, China. These include travels and research study throughout China, including Tibet and Dunhuang, at the same time go through the Southeast Asia.
It is my commitment, one of love and devotion, to study, perfect and preserve these past techniques and translate them as possible with media available today and to make this work available for both their traditional roles as focus pieces of religious meditation and prayer as well as objects of traditional beauty for the general public
It is my deepest hope to be able to share this rare and unique tradition with those in the west who share an interest in the arts of the world and making this a living part of our world today......
