Dawn Chen-Ping is a professor emeritus of the Taipei National University of Arts in Taiwan since ending his 30-year teaching career in printmaking. He also held a strong background in the field of sculpture while teaching at the National Taiwan Normal University and the National Taiwan University of Arts. His constant efforts and enthusiasm for both allow him to display his works in numerous Asian cities, some of the works being collected by various museums and organizations worldwide. His works specifically reflect on the social issues from our living environments . His creative philosophy finds expression in his interpretation of the reality and falsehood of existence, the inner and outer appearances of material things and the positive or negative connotations of words.
