Statement
With a history extending over 2,000 years, the highly acrobatic, martial Lion Dance is one of the most widely spread folk dances in China. Guided by expert dancers, the King of the Animals writhes, falls forward, jumps, and bows, as well as performing other highly difficult movements, to bring luck, peace, and happiness.
