Tai Zhang
Tai Zhang is a photographer based in New York City. He was born in Chongqing, China, and trained in classical Western and traditional Chinese dance. He performed as a dancer overseas for a number of years, where he gained exposure to the subjects that would most strongly influence his work – people at
the intersection of both traditional and modern culture, and the environments in which they live.
