I grew up in China and received my professional art education in China. In 2012 I moved from Beijing to suburban Midwest. Creating portraits and figures is a spiritual experience for me. I try to reveal the unseen part of human existence and human identification in my paintings. I hope the viewers can find some part of themselves resonates in my paintings.
