Born in Macao, Ma Ho was admitted to the National Normal University of Taiwan in 1953, where she studied painting under Chu Teh-Chun. It was during this period that she met Chuang Che, who she would later go on to marry. She joined the famous avant garde group "Fifth Moon" and had multiple exhibitions. Her way of using colours and spaces offers an aneiric universe where east and west, abstraction and figuration, plant and animal, blend.
