Chinese American Arts Council/Gallery 456 is pleased to present Saturated Gene, a solo exhibition of photographic works by Kanak Guo, on view from June 10, 2022 to June 24, 2022.

The work presented in Saturated Gene is at once intimate and expressive. In the group of works shown in this exhibition, the artist seeks to express queer culture along with the desire of the human body. Each work is fully formed only by the participation of the viewer. Many of the photographic images include reference to body shape. Guo attempts to expand the visual expression and sense of form in his work to provide a new way of viewing art. These works attempt to give the viewer such an experience, not only visually, but also emotionally.

Guo uses different techniques and collaborates with artists to provide the audience with a visual feast.
